Mod Chip Errata

This is a collection of the most frequently given answers:
  • Kit not correctly installed because the instructions are written for direct chip / wires connection but the chip we delivered to you is mounted on a small PC board. Please follow the remapping table on page three of the general.pdf.
  • You are trying to install a region code modification into a player that does not only need a region code mod but also PAL playback enabled. If you bought your player in a NTSC country and your DVD player manual does not mention the ability to play PAL disks, please ask us about this issue before buying the kit.
  • "I want to return my kit and apply for a refund". Sorry, but all our kits are hand made when ordered therefore we can only give refunds for problems we are responsible for. You can send us the mainboard or the player for the installation and we will only charge the difference.
  • "What is your support policy?" We do help our customers as much as we can. We do ship out replacement chips if we think it could solve problems. We do reply to all emails, at least during our business hours from monday to thursday
